Stephanie Kostro

Stephanie Sanok Kostro is Executive Vice President for Policy at the Professional Services Council in Arlington, VA. With more than 25 years of experience in federal government and industry, she leads a strong policy team that is committed to advocating for and supporting productive collaboration between the U.S. government and government services industry. Previous positions have included Principal at a small strategic advisory firm (2015-2021), Senior Fellow and Director of the Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (2010-2015), contractor at U.S. Embassy Baghdad (2008-2009), senior Professional Staff Member and Policy Director on the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee (2005-2008), and civil servant at the Pentagon (1998-2005). Ms. Kostro holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Cornell University.
