Biography
Sanjay Basu is an IT industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience in IT security and Audit. He has worked in various roles and held positions like Enterprise Architect, Principal Engineer, Chief Technologist and Chief Technology Officer, throughout his career. In context of Security and Compliance in Cloud Computing, he is architecting, designing and launching secure and compliant private and public IaaS services since 2007 in organizations like Dell, EMC, AWS and now Oracle (Oracle IaaS). Currently, he is the director of Security & Compliance Solutions Architecture in Outbound Product Management at Oracle IaaS. His interests include architecting Cloud Native Applications and using Machine Learning for threat hunting and Blockchain for information security. He has several patents on Load Balancing methods for Orchestrations using Distributed Computing. When not tinkering with infrastructure as Code, he flies drones and pursuing FAA commercial drone flying license.
