Biography

Peter Boutan brings over twenty years’ experience in technical Integration, IT Solutions Architecting, Data Center Design, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations on an assortment of DoD Programs. His first seven years were spent in uniform serving in the US Air Force in multiple roles supporting the intelligence and combat operations communities, including several deployments to the Middle East. He played an integral role in the design and development of the Predator UAV Operations Centers supporting Combatant commanders and the ISR communities in preparation for and continued support of, air and ground operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other theaters of operation. As a Defense industry contractor, Peter's technical expertise has significantly contributed to the successful planning, design, implementation, and secure operations of multiple DoD IT enterprise environments both CONUS and OCONUS in support of conventional ground, intelligence community, air, and special operations. His knowledge of emerging IT enterprise capabilities and supporting commercial and government policy and strategy has proven to be a valued asset for multiple organizations. His technical and leadership roles have ranged from System Administrator, Project Manager, Deputy Country Manager, Service Strategy and Design Lead, Solutions Architect, and Deputy Program Manager. Peter is a trusted leader and manager amongst his employees and peers. He holds a strong grasp, understanding, and experience in the application of ITIL Service Lifecycle in organizations ranging in size from small businesses to large intercontinental IT enterprises. Peter is also a passionate health enthusiast. His daily routines are layered in disciplined health regiments that include mediation, a variance of physical modalities of weight resistance and cardio, nutrition, and mindful self-reflection. As a process of giving back to our communities, Peter participates in many activities in his local area of Miami providing trauma therapy and mentorship to veterans struggling with PTSD as well as adults and young adults seeking support from other traumatic life events.
