Biography

Edward Jennings is a systems engineer and mobility subject matter expert in SAIC’s Defense and Civilian Sector. Jennings’ SAIC customers include Naval Information Warfare Systems Command, supporting the Marine Air-Ground Task Force in common handheld equipment acquisition and raid force equipment acquisition.

Jennings also provides cybersecurity engineering support for the National Security Agency’s Commercial Solutions for Classified and the Resource Management Framework mobile solution accreditation efforts, as well as requirements analysis support and program office acquisition engineering document development and review.

Jennings’ background encompasses the systems development lifecycle: prototyping, requirements elicitation through management, software component design and development, systems integration, cybersecurity systems engineering, and developmental and operational test and evaluation. He has more than 25 years of experience that includes technical leadership and engineering support for joint capability technology demonstrations and other signals intelligence technology prototypes.

Jennings has been blessed by his wife — his “better half” of more than 27 years — and their canine children. He has served as an Episcopal verger for more than 20 years and as an acolyte for more than 50 years. He serves as the weekly net control for the Army Military Auxiliary Radio Service (MARS), after having served the Navy MARS for more than eight years.
