Overview the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List (APL) certification as a DoD procurement requirement for hardware products. Compared and contrasted the objectives of CC and DODIN to understand how the DoDIN relies on CC to ensure IA security composition, while DoDIN focuses on interoperability and next level threats. Provide lessons learned to prepare product for DoDIN APL testing before the Common Criteria evaluation even starts to minimize rework and increase speed to market.
