Wilson Bautista is the CEO of Jun Cyber, a cybersecurity and compliance firm focused on helping organizations in the Defense Industrial Base achieve and sustain CMMC compliance. As a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (LCCA) he specializes in building operational compliance programs that go beyond documentation and stand up to real-world audits.

With a background in information security, managed services, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), Wilson has led organizations through complex regulatory environments including NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. His approach emphasizes execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes—challenging the industry’s tendency toward “check-the-box” compliance that fails under scrutiny.

Wilson is also at the forefront of integrating AI and automation into cybersecurity operations. Through Jun Cyber’s agent-driven platform initiatives, he is developing scalable systems that transform how compliance is implemented, monitored, and maintained across organizations.

A veteran with combat experience in Afghanistan, Wilson brings a disciplined, mission-focused mindset to leadership. He is known for his candid perspective on the cybersecurity ecosystem and his commitment to protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in support of the warfighter.
