Biography
Rob Holloway has served as a Project Officer (PO) under Product Manager (PdM) Global Network Enterprise Modernization – Americas (GENM-A). As PO Global Secure Network (GSN), his responsibilities included implementation, testing, training, and transition of the solution to enable the Army’s Unified Network enabling the Army’s key precepts of modernizing to improve readiness, improving cost visibility and forecasting, and underpinning conditions for a Unified Network. Before taking on GSN, Mr. Holloway served as APM Enterprise IT as a Service and was responsible for the design and implementation of a parallel, non-interfering commercial telecommunications provided network at 9 locations throughout the Continental United States.
Mr. Holloway was a Government civilian for seventeen years and prior to that served the Army for 23 years culminating his career as a First Sergent in 2nd Infantry Division. He was also a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor where he led, planned, coordinated, and directed the unit, direct support and general support (DS/GS) maintenance of all mechanical equipment; Serving as principal maintenance or operations NCO in maintenance battalion or higher level organization; including the supervision of personnel performing the duties of Machinist (44E4O); Armament/fire control maintenance supervisor (45Z4O); Construction equipment repairer (62B4O); and Track vehicle repairer (63H4O).
Mr. Holloway is a graduate of the University of Maryland, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in software engineering and is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and a Practitioner in Program Management and Information Technology.
