Biography

With a background spanning both large corporations and smaller IT enterprises, Kevin has developed his skills across various domains within the realm of information technology. His journey began with key roles in several IT companies, where he navigated the landscape of product security, regulatory compliance frameworks, and software development life cycle (SDLC) maturity.

Currently serving as the Senior Manager for the Trust and Assurance team at HPE Aruba, Kevin oversees two critical divisions. One division focuses on attaining federal certifications such as FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, and DoDIN-APL, ensuring compliance with government standards. The other division spearheads product security initiatives including SDLC best practices, GRC implementations, and Software Bill-of-Materials integration. Under Kevin’s leadership, these teams have moved HPE Aruba towards an enhanced compliance maturity across a spectrum of security standards, including the NIST SSDF.

Prior to joining HPE Aruba, Kevin contributed his expertise to the defense sector as a contractor, while also lending his insights to four Common Criteria laboratories. His thought leadership extends beyond organizational boundaries, including engagements at events such as the NSA Trusted Computing Conference and the International Common Criteria Conference as well as leading several technical community working groups.
