Joshua Fallon
Biography
Dr. Joshua Fallon is a Senior Network Defense Analyst in the CERT Division Monitoring & Re-
sponse (MR) Directorate within the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (CMU SEI). A theoretical mathematician by training, Fallon advises senior leaders in the U.S. Department of Defense and Federal Civilian Executive Branch agencies in technology planning, development, and acquisition. His team focuses on development of analytics to measure threat- and mission-informed risks and quantify situational awareness for commanders and senior executives. His work ties together the often-competing goals of cost management in acquisition and equipping the security operators who protect the systems relied on by the warfighter.
Fallon holds a PhD from Louisiana State University, a MS from Florida Atlantic University, and a BS from Palm Beach Atlantic University, all in Mathematics.
