Daniel Birenkott

Dan Birrenkott is the Director of Operations for IT Veterans, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Trusted Integrator headquartered in Herndon, Virginia. Dan oversees execution of all of IT Veterans’ contracts, to include prime/sub relationship management and staffing. Prior to his current role he spent 4 years on site with an intelligence community customer leading a team designing, procuring, accrediting, installing, operating, and maintaining CSfC solutions. Before joining IT Veterans, Dan worked in various program management roles providing IT and cybersecurity support to a variety of federal government and DoD agencies.

Before starting his civilian career in 2014, Dan spent over 27 years on active duty as an Air Force communications/cyberspace operations officer, serving in various tactical, operational, and strategic assignments around the world. Dan is a certified PMP and CISSP and holds a BS in Geography from the USAF Academy, an MBA from Auburn University and MS in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He is an amateur homebrewing enthusiast, and enjoys fitness, live music, and sports.
