Panel Discussion: Enabling Ipad and Iphone Classified Mobility Panel (C13c)

This panel discusses the recent technical breakthrough that enables iPads and iPhones for classified mobility use case within the CSfC standard. This is game-changing for Federal and International users who seek a uniform iOS ecosystem in both their classified and unclassified environments.

Previously, iPads and iPhones could not receive security patches or application updates within a CSfC architecture. This limitation severely constrained meeting customer use cases and pent-up demand.

A close collaboration between Apple, Ivanti, and Owl Cyber Defense resulted in an iOS solution that integrated Ivanti’s Mobile Device Manager, Owl’s Tyton cross domain solution, and new iPad/iPhone functionality.

This solution has the support of both NSA CSfC and CDS governing authorities and been tested in government labs. The first major federal installation is underway.

This panel is designed for both the general CSfC user and the expert. An overarching architecture and use cases cover broad CSfC and CDS considerations in addition to specifically covering functionality of Apple Business Manager, Ivanti Mobile Device Manager, the Cross Domain Solution Tyton Solution, and high threat networks. This specific solution is broad enough in implication and significance for the general forum. The panel is composed of leading experts.
